When you make use of our services you entrust your personal data to us. We thereby recognise our responsibility to be clear with you about what data we collect and how we process it in order to improve our services for you. We would like to explain to you in a clear and accessible way through this privacy statement what personal data we collect and how we process it. You can find information below about how the Wilmink Group protects your privacy as a data controller.

The contents of this statement applies to: 

• Anyone involved in a transaction with the Wilmink Group, both as the representative of a corporate entity and in a personal capacity (e.g. an employee, manager, intermediary or legal representative); 
• All existing, potential future and former customers and suppliers of the Wilmink Group; 
• Persons who are not a supplier or customer of the Wilmink Group, including the contact persons for customers or beneficiaries of payments. 

‘Personal data’ refers to all information that tells us something about you or that we can link to you. This includes your name, address, date of birth, account number or IP address. 

‘Processing’ refers to everything we could do with this data, including storing, sorting, collecting, recording, using, deleting, modifying, sharing or publishing.

• Become or wish to become a customer or supplier;
• Sign an application form for a customer portal;
• Sign a contract;
• Purchase our products;
• Search and order via our webshop;

Rights

Naturally you have the right to decide how your personal data is used, and you can exercise this right in the following ways:

Access data
You can access the personal data that the Wilmink Group processes about you on request.

Rectification
If there are inaccuracies in your personal data, we will amend these for you.

Objection
Naturally you can object to the processing of your personal data by the Wilmink Group for legitimate purposes such as marketing. We will consider your objection, after which the processing will be stopped unless there are justified reasons for continuing processing.

It is not possible to object to data processing for the purpose of statutory and/or contractual obligations.

You have the option to unsubscribe form marketing messages, and naturally you can also subscribe to these (again).

Deletion
There are various reasons for which we delete your personal data, subject to statutory obligations:

• The initial reason no longer exists;
• You no longer grant permission;
• You have legitimately objected to the use of your data;
• The processing of your personal data is unauthorised;
• The deletion of your personal data is required by European or other legislation;

Wilmink Group's policy is designed to protect your data on the basis of at least the minimum required standards that we constantly adapt in line with changing regulations and market developments. Hence technical and structural security measures are implemented in order to guarantee the confidentiality and integrity of your personal data, once again in line with the applicable laws and regulations. This also applies to the processing method.

Employees of the Wilmink Group also bound by a duty of confidentiality and are only entitled to access your personal data in exceptional circumstances.

Applicability
This privacy statement applies to all companies in the Wilmink Group, including Wilmink B.V. , MasterTurbo B.V., Dumoto B.V. and Wilmink Engine Parts BvBa. The contents of this privacy statement can be amended regularly as a result of changing laws and regulations or processing methods.
